Thanks for pushing on this [~trigunab]! Please use asciidoc. We'd need a place
where this can fit into the reference guide. How about an appendix? If we frame
it as "incompatibilties from HBase 1 to HBase 2" then we can call out things
that are specific to 1.1, 1.2, 1.3... etc as we build up more knowledge about
how it differs from the later minor releases.
