In my YCSB runs, comparing 1.2.7 to 2.0.0 loads, I see that we carry more in 
hbase memstores but when I look by region, we seem to carry less per region and 
spike sizes more often. See attached graphs (the hits is so you can see the 
overall profile of load, mixed, pure-read for 1.2.7 and then for 2.0.0)
