The explanation that you wrote up is helpful, and including the base64 
decodings in the document (maybe after the table?) would be good addition so 
that folks have both an example that they can copy/paste and also understand 
what it means.

In asciidoc, you can use backticks to format text as monospaced: {{`like this`}}
