Hi, Ted. Through testing, I found that this code still take effect.
The purpose of this code is to disable verbose INFO logging from
{{org.apache.hadoop.io.compress.CodecPool}}
Although HBASE has migrated away from commons-logging, the class {{CodecPool}}
is still using commons-logging.
