our version was updated again in HBASE-17898. so currently we're on a march
2017 release, v3.2.1. v3.2.6 came out in december 2017, we could probably
update to that without much trouble at least for minor/majors that are already
on 3.2.1. a new major version came out that same month, so we're one major
behind.
