it looks like the source block is defaulting to Java, so that's not great. I'll
see if there's a no-syntax alternative.

This would be instead of the section that points at the bits, the
checksum/sigs, and the verify instructions? Would be shorter, which would be
nice. Wouldn't point to specific artifacts anymore, but I suppose after enough
time the links in these emails don't work anyways due to the move to
archive.a.o. Lemme make a go.
