This looks great.
On the checkstyle, yeah, I get confounded by some of these import order
complaints... they look fine to me so I end up by-passing them. Perhaps others
have input?
Would a test that puts up REST server and does secure client be too hard to do?
Would be a pity of this nice fixup rotted because of some unintended
side-effect of a rest change?
