Nice patch. [~brandboat] Could you please note this event on hbase docs. The
section [Upgrade Paths|https://hbase.apache.org/book.html#_upgrade_paths] is a
good place. We have to remind user the hfiles generated by 2.0.0, 2.0.1, and
2.1.0 are not backward compatible to 1.4.6-, 1.3.2.1-, 1.2.6.1-, and other
inactive releases (of cource, we have to put HBASE-21013 in 1.4.7, 1.3.3 and
1.2.7).
