Release Note: Adds a kafka proxy that appears to hbase as a replication
peer. Use to tee table edits to kafka. Has mechanism for dropping/routing
updates. See https://github.com/apache/hbase-connectors/tree/master/kafka for
documentation.
Pushed on hbase-connectors. Was able to stand up the proxy. Looks good. Did not
test. Figure we can do follow-on issues. I did a pass on the doc after push to
add a bit of formatting and minor edits.
