stack commented on HBASE-21430:
-------------------------------
bq. I mean we do not need to post the full content? The url of the PR and the
modified files are enough?
My understanding is 'git comments as JIRA comment' OR 'git comments as an email
(per comment)'. I think we should do the latter.
Lets make a new mail list.... what will we call it? Other projects seem to call
it 'notifications' which is too generic. Should we do 'gitbox' instead?
> [hbase-connectors] Move hbase-spark* modules to hbase-connectors repo
> ---------------------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: HBASE-21430
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-21430
> Project: HBase
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: hbase-connectors, spark
> Reporter: stack
> Assignee: stack
> Priority: Major
>
> Exploring moving the spark modules out of core hbase and into
> hbase-connectors. Perhaps spark is deserving of its own repo (I think
> [~busbey] was on about this) but meantime, experimenting w/ having it out in
> hbase-connectors.
> Here is thread on spark integration
