Duo Zhang commented on HBASE-22005:
-----------------------------------
I think 2.7.x is a stable release line, and lots of users are still on it, so
it is not likely that we will drop the support for hadoop 2.7.x for our hbase
2.x releases.
And for our hbase 3.x release, maybe we will just jump to only support hadoop
3.x?
And there is a discussion about dropping the support for hadoop-2.7.x and
hadoop-2.8.x, but lists.apache.org is extremely slow for me now, you could try
searching this subject on dev@hbase
'[NOTICE] Hadoop project discussing EOL for Hadoop 2.7'
Thanks.
