Fix For: 1.5.0, 1.4.10, 2.0.6, 2.1.5
HBASE-19008 and HBASE-21129 were never backported beyond branch-2. I can't find
any reason that this was not done. Despite these being public-tagged classes,
no incompatible changes were added.
The lack of these changes prevents HBASE-22144 from being backported cleanly.
