I'm reverting the change for now on branch-2.0, branch-2.1 and branch-2.2. The
commits on master and branch-2 depend on HBASE-22408 which was committed to
master and branch-2 only.
[~stack], could you provide an updated patch for branch-2.0, branch-2.1 and
branch-2.2?
