stack commented on HBASE-5691: ------------------------------ It calls System.exit on the end: System.exit(job.waitForCompletion(true) ? 0 : 1);. How you invoking it? You call main? Why not call the createSubmittableJob(conf, otherArgs) and then pass the passed job to job.waitForCompletion(true)... and show error or success dependent on what is returned.
