Thanks. @busbey @saintstack So I like the idea where we go with having it committed to hbase initially and then move out later if makes sense. I'm going to backport hbtop to branch-1 and add more metrics to it after it's committed, so I think at the beginning, it's easier to maintain it in the hbase main project. I will work on the rest of review comments.
