Apache9 commented on issue #736: HBASE-23182 The create-release scripts are broken URL: https://github.com/apache/hbase/pull/736#issuecomment-555273302 Hi @bharathv , this PR is for fixing the problems of the scripts and I've tested this twice when releasing 2.2.2 and 2.1.8, which means it works. So I think we could get this in first, and file a new issue to polish the scripts. If you have interest, the scripts also have other things which could be improved.
