Just replied on the thread – a quick glance makes me think you need more than
just these two classes to be effective in Phoenix.
Starting with these and being able to demonstrate what you're thinking of doing
in Phoenix will be a big help.
Either way: supportive of making this change. Way better to give Phoenix access
to this stuff than to create a schism where we have two metrics systems running
inside HBase ;)
