Viraj Jasani commented on HBASE-24809:
--------------------------------------
[~busbey] [~ndimiduk]
Can we rely on in-progress documentation of Yetus:
? Does in-progress here always point to new Snapshot release version under
progress? I was just thinking that these IA interfaces might not usually go
through major changes and if it would be good idea to redirect users to
in-progress javadoc link always.
Thanks

> For HBase doc section "*HBase API Surface*", doc references for Apache Yetus
> InterfaceAudience 0.5.0 are outdated and no longer available:
> Since we are not using upgraded versions of Yetus so far, we can specifically
> provide link reference with version as placeholder e.g
> [https://yetus.apache.org/documentation/${version}/interface-classification/|https://yetus.apache.org/documentation/0.12.0/interface-classification/]
> (0.12.0 link:
> [https://yetus.apache.org/documentation/0.12.0/interface-classification/]) so
> that users can read docs by manually replacing version.
