I suppose this isn't a problem if the Docker version of the build script is
used, because the Docker image is Linux based. That option was not available to
me today because the dockerfile had bit rotted. (Stack has fixed it since, I
believe.)
Going to switch to a Linux VM just to run the compat checker now, will report
back.
