Thank you for adding this info for trouble shooting lease expiration. I have two concerns here that might need to be addressed: 1. Can we also log user name like https://github.com/saintstack/hbase/blob/branch-2/hbase-server/src/main/java/org/apache/hadoop/hbase/regionserver/RSRpcServices.java#L1787? 2. Can we have test that actually initiates the call? The unit test seems just test the class instantiation.
