Attaching longer document detailing snapshots. It has both a general overview
and a walkthrough of implementation. Its complementary to the docs on HBASE-50
and the code on github.
In short, its distributed two-phase commit, where the prepare phase blocks all
writes to all, enabled via a barrier node in zookeeper.
