[~brahmareddy] I don't know of any incompatible changes from 2.3 to 2.4. Our
upgrades to 2.4.5 from various patch releases of 2.3 have been smooth and
uneventful. Coming from 2.1 or 2.2, there are [some
snags|http://hbase.apache.org/book.html#upgrade2.3], but nothing from 2.3 to
2.4. I cannot think of any reason to not make the upgrade.
