The test here, like the one added in https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-15658, simply verifies that despite this change we _still_ clear cache on retry. It's hard to test that we don't clear cache on prepare, but this seems like the more important test. I renamed the protected method so that it's clear that it is meant to be used in the prepare method, as mentioned in the new javadoc as well. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
