Your extra commit for branch-2 looks fine to me. Will you need to apply that change as an addendum to `master`? If so, I suggest that you encapsulate it as it's own commit, with a commit title like "HBASE-26807 Unify CallQueueTooBigException special pause with CallDroppedException (addendum)". You can make a PR with just the addendum for master and in this PR you can merge both commits (the original backport and the addendum) to branch-2. I recommend that you preserve the addendum through all backport branches. This makes it a little easier down the road when a RM wants to audit whether a JIRA ID as been applied _in its entirety_ to a given branch. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
