Shame the openlabs protobuf 2.5 doesn't ship a macos aarch64 binary, only a
Linux one. But that does point to providing one being a one time cost to
generate the binary and release it to Maven central, and then a one time cost
to update our pom to change the protoc related configuration based on detected
architecture.
