In the best case scenario, we could offload the work to the Debian package
maintainer teams[1].
In the second best case scenario, we could offload the work to the BigTop
Debian package maintainer teams[2].
In order to generate the .deb packages, we need to create a debian/ directory
with all of the stuff that is necessary to do the build. Here[3] is an example
of what a debian/ directory might look like. Since this is a java library and
the example is a perl library, there will be some distinct differences. :-)
