I agree that we do hadoop 1.0.x and 2.0.x only, officially. You going to write
the dev list Jon w/ proposal we can all pile on? Stick in there too your
finding that we need recompile if doing hadoop1 vs hadoop2 (maybe we'll not
need it going forward w/ the hadoop specific modules we now have and some
hackery in hadoop-env.sh)
