As explained in the description, we still use this method in the Visibility
label feature, so we can not remove it in 3.0.0. Let's change the deprecation
cycle from to be removed in 3.0.0 to 4.0.0, and explain the reason why it can
not be removed in 3.0.0 in the javadoc.
