I'm mostly done on the patch for this, but one issue came up while working on
the migration script. I intend to remove the meta migration code from 0.90 \->
0.92|0.94, and add meta migration from 0.92|0,94 -> 0.96, but if we remove
those parts, then 0.90->0.96 won't be supported.
The convention for us has been that it is ok to drop support from 0.90 to 0.96,
but just wanted to make it explicit that it will indeed be the case. wdyt?
