Description:
We're currently using protoc 2.5.0.
Surprisingly, that works with 3.x thirdparty protobuf libraries currently used
for building,
but it fails with when trying to build with HBase 2.6. (which uses later
thirdparty with protobuf 4.x)
We have to use the correct protoc version.
