Two changes:
1) Remove a 2 seconds sleep called 32 times.
2) Changed the calls to TestThriftServer (already executed in the medium tests)
to a much simpler test. Given the test comments, it seems ok.
With the two changes, the test needs 50s to run on my machine, 12 times faster
than before.
