## What changes were proposed in this pull request? Backport #8755 to branch-2, adapting the regression test to use HBaseTestingUtility. ## Why are the changes needed? Bundled JUnit classes can conflict with downstream JUnit versions and break test discovery. ## How was this patch tested?
