This PR removes calls to `HBasePlatformDependent`, which is part of hbase-thirdparty. That class it actually what calls Unsafe directly. So after callers of `HBasePlatformDependent` are removed, we could make a new hbase-thirdparty release. But this PR won't go into branch-2, so it won't remove callers to `HBasePlatformDependent` there. I think we shouldn't make new hbase-thirdparty releases that aren't compatible with branch-2 until that branch is no longer active. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
