I'll commit Salesforce to the following actions:
* Address the three issues mentioned above (HBASE-6439, HBASE-6797, HBASE-6707)
* Run with this patch on our test cluster and poke some load at it, delete some
large tables, etc. (so that it leads to lots of deleted HFiles)
