I agree with Matteo wrt Jon's comments. I expect the 'online scaffolding' will
have to dramatically change too, though it depends on what Jon comes up with.
[~jmhsieh] feel free to close out the old jiras for things that you are
replacing (e.g. the Three-Phase Commit Framework), if you feel up to it.
