Sorry, I cancelled the patch because I tought the if (index == null) { index = 
0; } was something I missed, but finally it's normal.

indexes contains the index of the results in the current region. Initially, 
it's empty because indexes = new HashMap<Integer, Integer>(); so when we try to 
retrieve a region index for the first time, index == null. Which mean we are at 
the index 0. That's why we have this test.
