each patch be "in an area" -- a group of fixes related to classes in common
packages or function. Doing this will help us split the work, and get this
done more quickly.
How about we break it down into roughly the three areas we already have?
* clone+restore+export
* offline snapshot
* online snapshot (proc, err handling)
