Right. The single biggest improvement I want to see in the MR tooling is a
single code path. That way we won't need multiple implementations of MR
components for both KeyValue and Put, we'll have no more
{{if(KeyValue.class.equals(...))}} in HFileOutputFormat, and we can implement
things like secondary sort once. With secondary sort, the \*SortReducer are
unnecessary.
