IMHO, 0.96 will not be so far from now... And HBASE-5335 is already in. Also,
it's a pretty big patch. So I'm not sure it worst the backport. But on the
other side, it's not breaking any compatibility, so it might not be an issue to
backport it. If you want my non-commiter opinion ;) I will say I'm +0 on it.
