I actually agree on that. I wanted to give this feature proper coverage in
HBaseCon talk, but I am struggling to find a very good scenario for it that is
easily verifiable (like I could do for stripes with simplest "vert large
region" approach).
Maybe someone from FB can comment as originators of the idea?
