As of 0.95 and pb, if server says no more results, then clientside we will set
the ClientScanner as closed and scannerId as -1 (another indicator of
closedness). Client-side, we may subsequently call close on the scanner and
find the closed flag so we'll save on the close rpc we used do.
Remaining then is returning results as well as the scannerid on scanner open.
