stack updated HBASE-8622:
-------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Hadoop Flags: Reviewed
Status: Resolved (was: Patch Available)
Committed to 0.95 and trunk (thanks for +1 @nkeywal).
The way this mechanism worked is nice w/ its fat warning right in front of the
operators' face (though, tell the truth, I only saw it yesterday though its
been flashing at me a while -- I've been able to 'not see it' that long). We
should exploit it to put other warnings under the nose of operators.
> Remove ' You are currently running the HMaster without HDFS append support
> enabled. This may result in data loss. Please see the HBase wiki for details.

> We show ' You are currently running the HMaster without HDFS append support
> enabled. This may result in data loss. Please see the HBase wiki for details.
> ' if append not enabled. But we don't turn it on since hadoop1 because
> default is that it is on. Remove this confusing warning from UI.
