Interesting ideas, Sandy. We'd love to leverage this down the road in Phoenix
(https://github.com/forcedotcom/phoenix). As a simple, first use case, we'd
love to get streaming support for BLOB, CLOB types. If you want a place for
your alternate client API to live, take a look at Phoenix.
