I agree that ideally specifying hbase-0.95.1-hadoop2 should be enough. If we
can do that it'd be awesome!
Just throwing out ideas here...in the absence of that solution, maybe we should
have no default hadoop.profile so that users of hadoop2 know they must specify
-Dhaoop.profile=2.0 while users of hadoop1 must specify -Dhaoop.profile=1.0?
It's a slight downgrade in terms of usability for 1.0 users but a step up in
terms of usability for hadoop2 users.
