I think we need to fix this. These properties are good. However, it is really 
hard to set them to some proper values. If we set the timeout too short, some 
queries could be killed in the middle. If we set the timeout too long, the 
resource is wasted for too long. I think they can be used as some last resort.

I'd like to give it a try.
