Hi [~dij] and [~jayapriya90].. Thanks for your interest in working on this
project. Unfortunately this project will not be part of GSoC this year as it
will not be much useful for hive. HIVE-9689 will be more useful for hive
optimizer to make better decisions for the same cases that SAMPLE operator
serves. If it still interests you please submit for HIVE-9689 project.
