I don't know it just breaks by itself...
I was able to run the test...which passed with:
{code}
mvn install -pl standalone-metastore/ -Dtest=TestTablesGetExists
-Dtest.groups=org.apache.hadoop.hive.metastore.annotation.MetastoreCheckinTest
