I run into a problem similar to the one with HIVE-17751. When I create a
submodule of standalone-metastore, its pom.xml inherits all the executions from
standalone-metastore and most of these do not apply for the submodule. I tried
to disable this by adding {{ <inherited>false</inherited>}} property but it
doesn't quite work.
[~alangates] [[~vihangk1] Do you have any thoughts on how I can convince maven
not to use executions from standalone-metastore in the submodule?
