Sahil Takiar commented on HIVE-20079:
-------------------------------------
Some of the updates to the q.out files change {{rawDataSize}} to a value of 0,
which doesn't look right - e.g. parquet_vectorization_0.q.out
So does {{BlockMetaData#getTotalByteSize}} return the size of the block when
loaded into memory? It looks like we close the file first and then re-open it
to get this metadata, is there any way to collect it while the file is still
open?
> Populate more accurate rawDataSize for parquet format

> Run the following queries and you will see the raw data for the table is 4
> (that is the number of fields) incorrectly. We need to populate correct data
> size so data can be split properly.
