[~vgarg] let me know if you need me to do anything to get this change into
3.2.0.
[~pvary] I thought this change was merged and released in Hive 2.3.3 but
looking at the jar files this doesn't appear to be the case. Is there anything
we can do to get this into the next Hive 2.x and 3.x releases as we're running
into this issue all over the show.
